Meet our DJ Staff!
They’re professional, accommodating, trustworthy, eager, and fun! At Nightlife we understand that our company is only as strong and successful as our staff and our DJ’s agree. We hire mature adults that take pride in creating wonderful memories for clients and guests.
All of our DJ’s have successfully passed our 10 week training program and have received wonderful reviews prior to entertaining clients alone. Our DJ’s are prepared to play any mixture of music you request. They use their individual qualities to make your event successful and unique. Our DJ’s keep your guests dancing throughout your event without making themselves the center of attention. We currently have 18 DJ’s on staff.
Most of our DJ’s have earned a bachelor’s degree and are either new in their career or going back to school to further their education. Many of our DJ’s have found employment with some of Minnesota’s finest companies. Some of the companies include: Verizon, AT&T, Target, Cargill, Fidelity, and we have several start-ups. Nightlife is proud to help in building leaders!
Meet our office staff!
Joseph Moore is our Regional Sales Manager. If you’ve contacted Nightlife before more than likely you’ve spoken with Joe. With over a decade of sales, management, and customer service experience; we felt that Joe was the right candidate to be the face of our company. He’s reliable, honest, and more than accommodating.
Being the Regional Sales Manager for Nightlife Entertainment is a never ending responsibility. Since Joe’s day job is in real estate and investment services he has the ability to be flexible when working with clients. Often Joe will schedule evening and weekend appointments to better accommodate his client’s schedules. Joe has been such a valued employee that Nightlife actually offers a special DJ package for any client that uses Joe’s real estate services.
Joe and his wife Lisa reside in Eden Prairie, MN. They have 3 children, 1 cat, and 2 dogs (German Shepherd & English Bulldog).
Jason Bates is our Twin Cities General
Manager. If your event is in the Twin Cities then Jason is a part
of it. He is knowledgeable, outgoing, and a natural leader. With responsibilities
that consist of scheduling, equipment, employees, and technicians
Jason has to be organized. He schedules DJ meetings constantly and
always reviews your event personally before taking it to the DJ’s.
Jason has over 8 years of management experience. He is the Director of Transportation for a non-profit organization in the Twin Cities. He personally oversees 15 employees with Nightlife and has very high expectations. Jason has also developed and managed our training program for the company.
Jason and his wife Milena reside in Excelsior, MN. They have 1 child, 1 cat, and 1 dog (shih tzu).
Joel Smith is our Great Lakes General Manager. If your event is in Northern Minnesota then Joel completely controls every aspect of it. He is absolutely one of the most honest, professional, and friendly people you will ever meet. Joel has been with Nightlife for nearly a decade and has the responsibility of overseeing all operations in Duluth, Brainerd, and Grand Rapids. Joel personally selects and trains his DJ staff. Joel is an equipment expert and does all the companies equipment purchasing.
Joel was originally the Twin Cities General Manager until his day job with a Minnesota based boat company took him up north where all the water is. You can rest assured that Joel will make sure your event is a success. Joel has experience managing over 300 accounts annually. Joel enjoys his position up north as he is now able to devote extra attention to his clients.
Joel resides in McGregor, MN. Joel has 2 dogs (St. Bernard & English Bulldog).
